Automatic Exchange of Information Regime
On January 1, 2015, Luxembourg brought into force its new regime related to the automatic exchange of information, in accordance with new European standards.

In practice, this means that UniCredit International Bank (Luxembourg) S.A., like other financial institutions, informs the Luxembourg Tax Authority about all interest payments realized on its customer accounts that fall within the scope of the relevant directive. The Luxembourg Tax Authority in turn transmits this information to the tax authority of the customer’s country of residency.

Under this regime, the bank remains committed to offering high-quality, individual solutions to customers involved in fully transparent international activities.
