Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing

In order to promote a corporate culture based on legality, characterised by fair behaviour, based on dignity and respect, we have issued the Policy on Whistleblowing.

The aim of the Policy is to ensure a work environment where employees and third parties (natural persons or legal persons linked to the group by contracts such as supplier, contractor, agent, shareholder contracts etc.), if there is the reasonable suspicion that unlawful behaviour has occurred or could occur in the group, can report with peace of mind.

The Policy sets out the process to manage the reports, identifying adequate channels of communication that permit the receipt, analysis and processing by the applicable company organisational units in a way that permits the necessary inspections to be carried out and the adoption of the necessary remedies to avoid it occurring again in the future.

The management of this process was conceived to ensure the maximum protection and confidentiality of the identity of both the whistleblower and the person being reported and to prevent any retaliatory or discriminatory behaviour as a result of the report.

The whistleblowing reports can be sent by employees using specific mechanisms indicated by the applicable internal rules (certain channels are available 24/7).

Third parties can send reports using the following mechanisms:

  • by email to the following address: UCIcompliance@unicredit.lu
  • by sending a written report to:
